Yin Yoga

Sundays 9:30-10:30am

Yin Yoga has an emphasis on long-held, passive stretches working into the deeper connective tissues. With the option of utilizing a variety of yoga props, most yin postures are held for 2-5 minutes and are practiced seated or lying on the mat. A yin class offers the student an opportunity for deep meditation while finding stillness in the postures and is an option for those who find seated meditation challenging.

Myofascial Release for Spine Health

In this workshop you’ll experience the therapeutic benefits of self-myofascial release. You’ll be guided to use simple tools like tennis balls, yoga blocks, and blankets, to unravel tension from muscles and connective tissues, enhancing your spine’s alignment. This workshop is for anyone seeking relief from back pain, better posture, and who wants to maintain spine health for a lifetime of effortless movement.

No yoga experience is required. If you’ve had any recent injuries or illnesses, please have your doctor clear you for this type of body work. Wear tighter fitting clothes that you’ll be comfortable in. All tools will be provided. Please register in advance. Space is limited to 25 people.
